There is a worship band and those attending share prayers, testimonies, and interact with the pastor during a conversational sermon/message. A classic Protestant service accompanied by piano. This service is slightly less formal than our 10 am service but it still includes two Bible readings, sermon, unison prayers and affirmations of faith, and songs from the hymnal. The pastor wears a robe and the congregation sits in pews in a beautiful sanctuary.

Currently, we’re doing an in-depth study of the biblical book of beginnings, Genesis.
The Salem Senior Center is a comfortable, non-threatening environment for seniors to meet and enjoy the company of others. Participation in activities is optional. People may come and go as they please. Some seniors come only for lunch although most come for the entire morning.
