Prayer of Preparation
Creator God, you made all that is, both seen and unseen. You made us in your image, both male and female, that we might reflect your goodness, wisdom, and love. As we gather around your Word this day, may our faith be renewed, that we may serve you. Amen.

WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP SERVICE—Is this your first time at Salem? If so, welcome. We’re so glad to have you with us. If you’d like for us to get to know you better you can use a connection card located in the seat pocket in front of you and drop it in the offering plate later in the service. Also, be sure to stop at the narthex on your way out for a gift from us. Thank you for coming!
TODAY’S SPECIAL BULLETINS are given by Connie and David Waters in memory of Ronald Barton.
FATHER’S DAY BLESSINGS TO ALL THE FATHERS with us today and to all the men who serve as father figures in the lives of children! As Christians we believe God’s providential care comes to us through ordained means. As a father, God has given you the unique privilege and responsibility of caring for those made in his very image. Thank you, Dad, for all you do!
EACH YEAR, THE WOMEN’S GUILD HONORS THREE OUTSTANDING MEN of the church with a gift for Father’s Day. This year, they would like to honor Bruce Balsdon, Jeff Day, and Jerry Washburne.
ECHO ARTICLES ARE DUE on Monday, June 25th.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT CLOSET — We have many different items that you can borrow at no cost, from wheelchairs and crutches to walkers and shower seats. If you have a need, please contact the church office at 812-867-3142 and we would be happy to help you out!
CHURCH CAMP SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE. There is money available to help with the cost of church camp. The donor who gave this money does not want anyone to miss out on a church camp experience because of money. If your child would like to attend church camp and you could use financial help, we have funds to help. Please contact the church office.
CAMP SALEM: Based on the survey responses from parents regarding a Summer Sunday School program, Camp Salem will not be held this year. Sunday School is now on break for the Summer. The Board of Christian Education will plan to survey parents again next Spring to determine if there is more interest in having a Summer Sunday School program at that time. To those who took the time to respond to our survey, thank you for your input!
